Hong Kong Food...

So I recently came back from a 6 month stint teaching English in Hong Kong. When I first arrived one of my older, more fluent students asked how I was finding the the food. I wasn't quite sure how to politely tell him that I was finding it extremely difficult to A. find something not scary, B. find something that looked cooked, C. find something I could keep down. Clearly the look on my face told him the answer so his question as he burst out laughing and directed me to these videos...

Firstly this one, little Antonio found this highly amusing, much to my offence! (Gwai Lo is a less than endearing term for westerners).

The lesson I learnt here was not to touch Durian! After Antonio calmed down and felt in a more helpful attitude he showed me one of Carlos' other videos....

I'll be honest most of these things still didn't appetise me but Fish Shui Mai... DREAM FOOD! So tasty, I'm really hoping to find it here in the UK.
